We offer throws and lapghans, which are not only practical, but add a colorful splash to any furnishings. They make great gifts as well. You can also find something for your baby or toddler, or a child who wants to show off their unique blankie. Because these are one-of-a-kind items, I have intentionally incorporated tiny "errors" to help guard their identity and prevent duplication.
We are honored to contribute a portion of the sales to humanitarian organizations, which provide clean water, food supplies, education, and medical care, for children and adults, domestically and internationally, as well as rescue and rebuilding operations following natural disasters.
In view of the pandemic, we follow strict guidelines to ensure not only our own safety, but that of our customers.

Welcome to Whimsy Knits!
Knitting has been my passion since childhood. I started out with the usual fare, scarves and sweaters, and progressed to more sophisticated 2-piece ensembles. I stopped briefly, and switched to making throws and lapghans, which are not only practical, but add a colorful splash to any furnishings. They make great gifts as well. In 2001, I lost my cousin and her husband when they were killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In her honor, her mother (my aunt) helped to establish an orphanage and a nursing home. They provide compassionate care and warm environments for orphan children and the elderly, respectively. I am honored to contribute to these causes.
